Had a fantastic remix that I posted to this song a while back, like way way back. This remix is just as great, it doesn't disappoint at all, give it a listen!
So just how many remixes can be made from Metric's songs? Apparently the possibilities are endless and they just end up getting sicker and sicker over time as each new artist cranks one out.
Definitely no "Levels" but this track is still sick and almost guaranteed to get you up and moving on your feet. Definitely another club hit that's pumped out.
Pretty sure I posted Ian J's mixtape a while back, incredibly sick I still listen to it. This time Ian J is featured in an incredibly upbeat track from P. Holla, using the guitar from Blink-182. Amazing.
If you're not sure what DNB is, it refers to Drum and Bass. Always has that snare drum in the background while creating different melodies. My most recent favorite would have to be the following.
You all remember this song I'm sure, well MBone was gunned down late Sunday. Apparently it was just a random act of violence, but damn that sucks. He was only 22, RIP.
Put this on and just sit back and relax to the music. Featured in quite a few Call of Duty montages which is where I found this amazing track. It might be a little slow and drop-less for some folks but it's still amazing.
Jack Sparrow (ft. Michael Bolton) - The Lonely Island
(@thelonelyisland)
So, I don't know how many of you got the last Lonely Island album, but they came out with a new one, and I'm liking the feel so far. This single "Jack Sparrow" keeps in tune perfectly with the parodies that are performed.
We heard the great remix that Netsky did on Rusko's latest song "Everyday" which is amazing. The popular artist remixes Jessie J and the song just sounds so smooth.
A lot of people read about how insanely I was addicted to the mixtape "The Drive In", and The Dean's list come out with a brand new music video. Dani Ummel's vocals are just chilling, both in this song and "Light up the Sky", great visuals.
Happy Hour (Office Theme Remix) - Kinetics and One Love
(@kinetics) (@onelove)
I'm a huge Office fan, it's true. I laughed at every "That's what she said" joke made by Steve, I'll admit I teared up a bit when he actually got on a plane and left Scranton. It's always interesting to see how artists are able to use the theme song. A while back I know it was mashed up with Lil Wayne's Hustler Music which was fantastic and this song is great as well. The ending is kind of bland but I love the fact they incorporated the theme song in.
Very well done of Mac Miller's famous song, Nikes on my feet, everyone has a pair of nikes that they are just in love with, I know I have multiple pairs and I wouldn't trade them for anything. Definitely check this guy out, he does a number of covers and they sound pretty great.
A lot of people don't know this but I actually grew up on rock and roll, you name it my dad was playing it in the car. Heard ELO, Hendrix, Zepplin, Foo Fighters, the list goes on and on, I was brought up on Rock and Roll music, so when I heard this song at a Nationals double header game, definitely brought some old school feelings back, and I figured I'd share.
Silly Girl (Neon Hitch vs. Wiz Khalifa) - Brenton Duvall
(@brentonduvall)
Brenton Duvall, he has come out with track after track that's consistently sick, haven't heard of Neon Hitch... well ever but this might persuade me to definitely go and check them out, seriously guys this mashup is amazing, I'd expect nothing less from Mr. Duvall though.
OH MY GOD. Words simply can't express how in love I am with this song, seriously, put this through your headphones, speaks, and turn up the volume seriously. This song is SICKKKKKKK. Got a few focus that's sped up in the right place and just sounds insanely beautiful.
There's really only one word to describe this track; swag. Pulls the darkest lyrics from everywhere and brings them forth in a track that's just amazing to listen to.
Last track I posted from Grieves was "Pack it up" which I absolutely loved the track, it stays playing through on my iPod. This newest track from Grieves is simple, and extremely chilling. The music video is something to watch and just pay attention to the artistic talent.
Come on now, everyone needs their pregame music, nothing says it better than repeating "Pound that beer" over and over again, get's the party vibe pumped up and going.
